Overview

At Trinity College, I coordinate our two team-taught introductory biology courses with labs. This includes developing curriculum (and writing the lab manuals) for the laboratory sections of these courses. I teach some lab sections each semester, and some lectures in the two courses. I also occasionally teach a nonmajors course. Click on the links below for descriptions of each course (scroll down on the Registrar's page to find the course). Students and guests who are interested in learning more about these courses should feel free to contact me.

Introductory courses for science majors:
Organisms and Populations (BIOL 152L)
Cells, Metabolism, and Heredity (BIOL 153L)
Bio II: Evolution of Life (BIOL 182L)
Bio III: Cellular Basis of Life (BIOL 203L)

Non-majors courses:
Urban Wildlife Ecology and Management (BIOL 131)

Typical urban wildlife behavior?

Teaching Assistants and Supplemental Instruction Leaders:
The Introductory Biology labs always need dedicated students to serve as Teaching Assistants. To learn more about being a Laboratory TA, CLICK HERE. Both introductory courses have students serve as Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders. CLICK HERE for more information on applying to be an SI Leader. If you are interested in becoming a Lab TA or SI Leader, feel free to contact me. You can email me by clicking THIS LINK.
